Start this journey from Brisbane and head north to Kallangur. The Strathpine Memorial Gates, situated on Anzac Avenue, frame entrance to the North Leagues and Services Club where the original honour board is kept. Travel through Anzac Avenue's memorial trees to Redcliffe. Return to the Bruce Highway (M1) to the base of the Glasshouse Mountains and on to Beerburrum, the first Soldier Settlement town established in Queensland. Beerburrum's Memorial Trees commemorate the loss of friends of the early residents.
