Cost $8.00 per night up to a maximum of 14 days. Toilets and Cold Showers are located in the amenities block on the entrance to the camping area and camping is permitted in the designated areas only (in yellow). A dump point is also located adjacent the main entrance. Permits can be purchased from:
?Point Lowly, by using the honour system and the payment box is located near the amenities block (Cash only)
?The Whyalla Visitor Centre, Lincoln Highway (Cash & EFTPOS)
?The Whyalla City Council, Darling Terrace (Cash & EFTPOS)
Place your permit on the passenger side of your vehicles? dashboard so that it is clearly visible. Council Officers will be patrolling the area & failure to purchase a permit may incur a fine of up to $187.50. Please note that camping is only permitted in the designated areas outlined in yellow on the above map and a 14 day limit applies.
