We enjoyed the locations and variety of locations on this tour. Lunch was great with great options, morning tea OK although cafe was disorganised even tho we were the only ones there... , day went along well. The overland bus was clean and comfy. Daniel our guide was very informative, and friendly, HOWEVER we found him to not really interact much or realise that we needed a gap from his commentary from time to time... his stories were told in too much detail with irrelevant info... . No one could get a word in. I know he is an experoenced guide from many years and locations around the country, however with his experience, felt he should know that people need a little time out from the guiding... He talked ALL day, about relevant and somewhat irrelevant things. Very knowledgeable, yes, but not much of a filter of reading his audience or knowing when to give a break from commentary We did enjoy the day but came home exhausted mentally from concentration on his commentary all day was a bit full on.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour from start to finish. Our guide Daniel was courteous, informative and funny. His knowledge was outstanding. I would recommend this tour to anyone. The included morning tea and lunch was absolutely delicious. The ice cream stop on the way home was a real treat too. Thanks for creating such a wonderful highlight on our Cairns holiday.

Beautiful waterways & rainforest environments. On the Daintree River cruise thrilled to see 3 large salties on the river bank, another swimming, and a few juveniles. Other animals included a tree snake, Great Egret, & Great Billed Heron. A really enjoyable tour with Joe - our personable and knowledgeable driver.

Loved everything about this tour. Whilst it was a long day, it was broken up with different stops and the bus was comfortable. Uta, our tour guide was a wealth of knowledge of the area and had a great sense of humour. Mossman Gorge was stunning and I loved meeting all the crocs along the Daintree River. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone wanting to explore these areas.

My husband and I had a fantastic day with Bridget. Bridget was a wonderful guide with a great range of local knowledge as well as lots of aboriginal stories relating to the area. The bus was very comfortable, lunch was really good. An awesome day had by us both

This was an amazing tour that had so much packed into one day that it is hard to describe the highlights! Mossman gorge is beautiful and the walk through the rainforest is spectacular (and quite easy). The views of the river and rocks are amazing. The indigenous cultural centre is also wonderful and shows the importance of the area. The cruise along the Daintree River was filled with crocs all of whom had been named and seemed to be quite okay with the constant stream of tour boats. Our drive through the Daintree rainforest was also breath-taking and culminated with a visit to Cape Tribulation. Such a pristine place with mangroves and a wide stretch of beach. Some additional stops included Daintree Icecream with the tasting cup including Jackfruit, lemon Soursop, Coconut and Wattle seed ice creams. This is quite a long tour but was very comfortable and the tour guide (Greg) was excellent.

I had a wonderful day doing this tour. It was a long day but a very comfortable one. The bus seats were comfy and the bus was air conditioned. Our tour guide Greg was entertaining and informative. I loved the crocodile river cruise. We saw a lot of crocs! The Daintree ice cream was great too! I’d recommend this to everyone!

This was an absolutely fantastic trip if you have limited time and knowledge of the area. Stu our guide was so knowledgeable and went out of his way to make the trip interesting and packed full of things to do and see. In nine hours we went for two bush walks, swam in a rainforest rock pool, had a tasty lunch at a cafe in the Daintree, saw a cassowary, taipan and dragon lizards, tasted homemade ice cream with bush food flavours, visited Alexander lookout and went on a river cruise to see the local crocodiles. Highly recommend this trip!

The tour guide Daniel was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and lots of fun. The entire tour was perfect. This tour group has great staff and I am glad I have actually booked all tours with them. Lunch was also extremely good quality. Highly recommend the Down Under Tour group.
